Here i am offering something for the specialist collector. I purchased this one off from Withams MOD sales about five years ago, it was just to good to miss. It had been procured by the MOD direct from Sweden as a tank killer with a 78mm gen through the center of the vehicle with a hydraulic piston and pump mounted and fitted for aiming the gun.
It had never seen any active service that i know of and has only 5000 kilometres recorded from new, yes that is correct, documented from new.
I brought it back into dry storage and over the years have replaced all of the parts that have perished over time, at the time it started right up and drove really well with no problems all gears,locks ect ect.
Although all the brake pads were very good the cylinders on a few were starting to leak and had contaminated the shoes so i relaced all with brand new, the whole lot, plus brand new exhaust ect ect. Tires had great tread but were perished on the sides so i refurbished the wheels and put nearly new Michelins all round. I also them bought 5 x refurbished wheels and oversized tires with custom made solid steel spacers for the future offroading capability..never used. so two sets. Re built the carbs, and changed all the usual plugs , leads, and bought the electronic points conversion kit ect ect.
Then the works stopped because i had a job offer in Africa i could not refuse, and it has sat dry stored ever since. I am back now and have just to many projects on the go to get to it and finish it. So i am sadly putting it up for sale as probably the lowest mileage original military spec 24v ect tank killer in the world today.
I am in no hurry to sell and dont need the money, so if someone does not come up with the asking price i will keep it dry stored until i get the time to finish it myself. But could do with more space and less projects on my hands right now, so lets see. It even has a set of original snow chains that have never been used. Only 8000 ever made and they will never make them this tough and rugged again i am sure of this. Designed for 1 million miles and won the Paris Dakar twice in the category. Fully UK registered as a classic very cheap insurance..
