Triumph TR4A IRS, assemblata a Bologna dalla Ducati, venduta nuova a Pesaro nel 1968 con soli tre precedenti proprietari, l'attuale da 34 anni.

La IRS (Indipendent Rear Suspensions) è l'ultima evoluzone della spider inglese disegnata a Giovanni Michelotti che adottava lo schema del retrotreno a ruote indipendenti, in luogo del precedente ponte rigido, a tutto vantaggio del piacere di guida.

Uno degli optional che rendono particolarmente utilizzabile questo esemplare anche sulle lunghe distanze è l'Overdrive (funzionante) sulla 2°, 3° e 4° marcia.
Ruote a raggi e tonneau cover, tra gli accessori. Capote nuova, carrozzeria e cromature recentemente rinfrescate.

L'auto nasceva nel colore Wedgewood blue (azzurro carta da zucchero) con interni coordinati in skai blu e moquette azzurra, attualmente presenti. Durante l'ultimo restauro, si è preferito il rosso segnale al colore precedente, comunque presente nella cartella colori Triumph dell'epoca.

L'auto viene consegnata revisionata, con tutta la storia italiana precedente, tra cui il libretto tagliandi originale. Targhe bianche con provincia Pesaro; possibilità di ottenere la targa precedente, sempre con la medesima provincia.

Triumph TR4A IRS, assembled in Bologna by Ducati and sold new in Italy (Pesaro) in March 1968, with just three owners, the last one since 34 years.

The IRS, (Indipendent Rear Suspensions) is the last evolution of the british spider designed by Giovanni Michelotti, which adopted the new rear scheme instead of the straight rear axle, for a better driving pleasure.

One of the interesting options of this example is the overdrive (perfectly working) on the 2nd, 3rd anf 4th gear. Spoke wheels and tonneau cover among the other options. New soft top, body and chromed components recently refreshed.

This example was born in Wedgwood blue (light blue) with blue interior, that we still find in the car. The last owner decided to respray the body in Signal red (available in the period colour chart).

Inspection recently done, the car is delivered with its complete italian history and the original service book.
