McLaren Senna

The carbon-fiber monocoque body wears a gloss “Visual Carbon Fiber” finish with Solar Yellow accents, and power comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle. Equipment includes the McLaren Track Telemetry package, staggered-diameter center-lock wheels with carbon-fiber rims, a 24-karat gold engine heatshield, front and rear parking sensors, a backup camera, Jet Black leather upholstery with Solar Yellow accents, an MSO Push-to-Drink system, and a Bowers & Wilkins seven-speaker audio system.

The Senna was designed under the direction of McLaren Automotive’s Rob Melville and built on the carmaker’s MonoCage III carbon-fiber monocoque platform. This example was optioned with the gloss “Visual Carbon Fiber” finish as well as Solar Yellow accents. Equipment includes front and rear parking sensors, a backup camera, a Formula One-inspired roof scoop, front and side air intakes, rear air louvers, a double-element rear diffuser, and an electronically adjustable rear wing that also acts as an airbrake. Topaz paint protection film was optioned from the factory.

The 19″ front and 20″ wheels feature carbon-fiber rims and blue center-lock nuts. They are mounted with 245/35 front and 315/30 rear Pirelli P Zero tires. RaceActive Chassis Control II was standard as were double-wishbone independent suspension, adjustable damping and roll modes, multiple stability-control modes, Variable Drift Control, Brake Steer, and launch control. Stopping power is provided by Laurel Green-finished six- and four-piston aluminum monobloc calipers over 390mm carbon-ceramic rotors front and rear.

Twin-hinge dihedral doors open to reveal a cockpit featuring carbon-fiber bucket seats with Jet Black leather upholstery and yellow contrast stitching, pinstriping, and Senna logo embroidery on the headrests. Additional features includes Solar Yellow-finished seatbelts and door struts as well as a black Alcantara headliner, dual-zone climate control, an MSO Push-to-Drink system, a Bowers & Wilkins seven-speaker audio system, and a portrait-oriented infotainment system with Bluetooth, satellite radio connectivity, and navigation. Replica Ayrton Senna signature graphics in Solar Yellow are affixed to the carbon-fiber door sills.
