Austin Healey 100/4 BN2 ‘Le Mans’, jaar 1956. Chassisnummer: BN2L232923, motornummer: 1B/239223M. Er is een Heritage-certificaat aanwezig dat bevestigt dat dit een ‘matching numbers’ auto is. De motor is origineel aan het chassis. Kleur: Ice Blue Metallic boven Old English White gecombineerd met een donkerblauw lederen interieur met witte biezen en blauw tapijt. De kleuren zijn volgens originele fabrieksspecificaties, de witte zijvlakken zijn later toegevoegd. Deze prachtige Austin Healey 100/4 BN2 werd nieuw verkocht in Los Angeles, VS. De ‘Big Healey’ is uitgebreid gerestaureerd in Europa, een fotoreportage van de restauratie is aanwezig. Tijdens de restauratie en revisie is de auto uitgerust met een ‘Le Mans-kit’ bestaande uit een speciale cilinderkop, een ‘cold-air box’, koelsleuven in de motorkap en een leren riem over de motorkap. De aluminium ‘cold-air box’ werd niet gewaardeerd door de huidige eigenaar en is momenteel niet gemonteerd. In plaats daarvan zijn er K&N sportluchtfilters op de carburateurs gemonteerd. De ‘cold-air box’ wordt meegeleverd. De huidige eigenaar kocht de Austin Healey in 2001 bij Altena Classic Service en heeft sindsdien veel plezier met de auto beleefd. De onderhoudsbeurten zijn bij Altena uitgevoerd, alle facturen zijn aanwezig. De auto wordt geleverd met een complete historie. Deze Austin Healey 100/4 'Le Mans' verkeert in zeer goede staat en de auto rijdt geweldig! Het is geen concoursauto, maar een echte rijdersauto met enkele gebruiks- en ouderdomssporen. De auto wordt compleet geleverd met een donkerblauwe soft top, donkerblauwe ‘side screens’ en een donkerblauwe tonneaucover. De auto is voorzien van zilverkleurige spaakwielen met Vredestein Sprint Classic-banden en een MotoLita-stuurwiel met houten rand. The engine is factory original to the chassis. Colour Ice blue metallic over Old English White combined with a dark blue leather interior trimmed with white piping and blue carpet. The colours are to original factory specifications, the white sides were added later in time. This magnificent Austin Healey 100/4 BN2 was sold new in Los Angeles, USA. This wonderful ‘Big Healey’ was extensively restored in Europe, a photo report of the restoration is present. During the restoration and overhaul the car was fitted with a ‘Le Mans kit’ consisting of the special cylinder head, cold-air box, cooling vents in the bonnet, and a leather security strap over the bonnet. The cold-air box was not appreciated by the current owner and is currently not fitted. Instead, K&N sport air-filters are mounted. This part comes with the car. The current owner purchased the Austin Healey from Altena Classic Service in 2001 and has enjoyed the car ever since. All service intervals were done at Altena, all the invoices are present. The car comes with a complete history file. This Austin Healey 100/4 ‘Le Mans is in a very good condition. It is not a concours car but a true driver car showing some traces of use and age. The car comes complete with a dark blue soft top, dark blue side-screens, and a dark blue tonneau cover. The car is fitted with silver painted wire wheels shod with Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres and a MotoLita steering wheel with wood rim.
