In 1992, the first special edition, the COLOR EDITION, was launched. These units have the KAMEI bumper accessories mounted on the front and rear, which were already known from the type89 16v. The accessories were completely painted in the color of the car. There were extra colored fabrics in the interior.

Exclusive version of the Kamei edition, whose main features are the Kamei sports bumper set, glossy hardwood on the doors and central console, leather mocha, 3-spoke sports steering wheel, 260 km/h speedometers, Recaro sports seats, surround sound, and a combination of graphite interior and all other extras of the model, air conditioning, innovative safety system from Procon-ten, etc.
