D5 Touring Bi-Turbo Switch-Tronic

For connaisseurs only. Alpina has been an independent brand for nearly 60 years, developing unique vehicles in limited numbers in cooperation with BMW. Alpina is not a tuner. Each Alpina has its own VIN. BMW’s M division creates fast sportscars with tough suspension and gearchanges and body details that stand out. Alpina focuses on refined and restrained but equally fast luxury, with uprated engines and unrivalled suspension that will transport you at amazing speed in utter bliss. Our F11 D5 came to accompany an earlier model B5 Touring. We were slightly concerned that a ‘diesel’ could not match the raw exhilaration of his V8 petrol older brother..but were soon convinced by silky smooth and unnervingly fast trips to mountains and beaches in the south whilst averaging just under 7 litres of consumption per 100 km. The engine’s momentum is stellar, delivered either softly or sportily depending on the setting you choose, but never rough. Fantastic Alpina (heated) leather and superb sound delivery through the Harman Kardon speakers make long trips a breeze.

This D5 was purchased new in Germany, traded in for a new B5 by the first owner and imported to The Netherlands by luxury specialists Qoets. We are the second owner in The Netherlands. She has driven 136 thousand kilometers and was under full warranty, enjoying BMW-only maintenance along the way. Health challenges have meant she was not driven but kept in heated storage for the past year, and we feel it’s time she moves to a new owner to be driven!
She was given a Gyeon ceramic coating in the summer of 2023 with a 5 year warranty. The Alpina 20” wheels are spotless and wear almost new Alpina-specific Pirelli’s. The amazing Carbonschwartz colour means she shows as either a deep black or a dark blue depending on light influx. As stated, a full BMW service history, including execution of all recalls, mean you have little if any maintenance concerns. Zero damage.
We are open to offers, she is now at a BMW specialist near Haarlem who can tell you everything about the car, let you test drive and show her on the bridge if desired.
